Technosoft Academy’s AI and Machine Learning course in Kolkata is split into three offline tracks, so a Class 12 student, a B.Com graduate and a working developer can each start at the level they are ready for. AI Playground (2 months) teaches you to use AI tools with no coding. AI Essentials (4 months) takes you from your first line of Python to a machine learning model running live on the internet. AI Professional (6 months) covers deep learning, RAG chatbots, LLM fine-tuning and MLOps for students who already know Python.
All three tracks are taught in the classroom at Brainware Computer Academy, our sister institute on VIP Road, Baguiati, in batches of 8 to 12 students. Both institutes belong to the Technosoft Group, which has been teaching computer skills in this neighbourhood since 2001. We did not add AI to a new brand to catch a trend; we built these tracks on 25 years of running classrooms for students from every stream.

Why AI skills matter for your career now
The clearest employer data comes from the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, which surveyed more than 1,000 employers representing over 14 million workers across 55 economies. Three of its findings matter for anyone choosing a course this year:
- 📈 AI and machine learning specialists are among the three fastest-growing jobs in percentage terms, next to big data specialists and fintech engineers.
- 🧠 AI and big data top the list of fastest-growing skills for 2025 to 2030, ahead of cybersecurity and technological literacy.
- 🏢 86% of employers expect AI and information processing to transform their business by 2030.
That last number is the one most students miss. AI is not only a job for engineers. An accounts executive who drafts GST reply letters with Claude, or a marketing intern who turns one blog into ten social posts with ChatGPT, is using AI at work too. That is why our first track needs no coding at all.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The whole field
Software that handles tasks which normally need human judgement, such as reading a document, answering a question or recognising a face. Starts in: AI Playground
Machine Learning (ML)
A branch of AI
A program that learns patterns from data instead of following hand-written rules. A spam filter trained on past emails is ML. Taught in: AI Essentials
Deep Learning
A branch of ML
ML built on many-layered neural networks. CNNs read images; NLP models read text. It is the technology underneath ChatGPT. Taught in: AI Professional
Generative AI & LLMs
Models that create
Large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude write text and code; other models create images and video. Used in Playground, built on in Professional
RAG & Vector Databases
AI on your own data
Retrieval-Augmented Generation connects an LLM to your own documents through a vector database, so answers come from your files. Taught in: AI Professional
MLOps
Shipping models
The practice of deploying, monitoring and updating models in production, the way DevOps works for ordinary software. Taught in: AI Professional

You want a data or Python job but have never coded
Start with AI Essentials. Python is taught from the first line, so no prior coding is expected.
You already know Python
Go straight to AI Professional. Python learned anywhere counts, as does completing AI Essentials with us.
You want the full path
Playground, then Essentials, then Professional: 12 months from zero to building and deploying AI systems.

What you build in each track
Employers hire from what they can see. Each track ends in work you can show, and your faculty agree the exact project with you. These are examples of the kind of project each track produces.
AI Playground: a complete branding kit for a local business, with a logo and social media images made in AI image tools, website copy drafted and edited with ChatGPT or Claude, and a short market research note built with AI search.
AI Essentials: a real public dataset cleaned and analysed in Pandas, charted in Matplotlib, and used to train a prediction model that is deployed as a live web app. The code sits on your GitHub profile, linked from your resume.
AI Professional: a RAG chatbot that answers questions from a set of documents using a vector database, followed by a fine-tuned LLM deployed with monitoring, the way a production team would ship it.
Placement support
All three tracks include dedicated placement support: resume guidance, interview preparation, portfolio review and career counselling. AI Playground students get support for entry-level roles; AI Essentials and AI Professional students also get their GitHub portfolio reviewed for technical roles. Our team helps you prepare, apply and practise for interviews; the hiring decision stays with the employer.
